Veteran Civil Recon Foundation is built by veterans who have navigated active duty, Reserve service, transition, benefits, and the VA system. We are building a practical bridge between veterans in need and the resources that can help them regain stability and move forward.

Leaving military service does not come with a simple instruction manual. Benefits, employment, housing, healthcare, education, finances, family needs, and community resources often sit in different systems with different rules. A veteran can qualify for help and still struggle to find the right door.
Civil Recon was created to help close that gap. Our veteran board brings more than 50 years of combined military experience across active-duty and Reserve service. We have experienced military transitions, worked through the VA and benefits systems, and learned firsthand how difficult it can be to understand what is available, who to call, and what to do next.
We want to turn that experience into a practical resource for other veterans: assess the need, identify credible resources, make the connection, coordinate where useful, and follow through.
See Our Mission in ActionHelp Build the MissionVeterans may have access to government benefits, nonprofits, employers, healthcare, education, financial assistance, and community programs—but those resources are spread across many organizations.
The problem is often not the complete absence of help. It is knowing what applies, understanding the process, getting connected to the right organization, and staying engaged long enough to reach an outcome.
Our team has navigated many of these systems ourselves. Civil Recon is being built so that experience can shorten the learning curve for veterans who need a path forward.
A donation to Civil Recon helps build the infrastructure behind veteran resource navigation: outreach, volunteer development, resource mapping, referral tools, community partnerships, program materials, follow-through systems, and the ability to respond when a veteran needs help finding the next step.
We are a young organization, which means early supporters have an unusual opportunity: you are not simply funding an established process—you are helping build a veteran-led support network from the ground up.
